For your first treatment, we'll do a thorough intake that delves into your chief complaints and considers how the rest of your body is functioning, too. This helps identify patterns that will point to the best treatment and put you on the path to greater healing. This usually takes about an hour, including the acupuncture treatment. 

A typical treatment plan will consist of 5-10 visits, followed by a reassessment to track your improvement and decide how to go from there. After your first visit, we can get to the treatment more quickly after checking in about changes and how you're feeling today. Expect this appointment to take 45 minutes or so.

Virtual appointments for herbal medicine and supplement prescriptions.

Herbs are an important part of most treatment strategies in Chinese medicine. You can take them in tablet form, or dissolve a powder in warm water. After your first consultation, I'll follow up with you so we can assess your progress and make adjustments as necessary. we can talk about your eating habits, your health goals, and I'll also give you a personalized list of foods that will help you feel better, naturally - and some foods you should probably try to avoid. We also discuss supplements and vitamins as needed.

We’ll do a full consultation to go over everything you’re concerned about and what else might be going on with your body. Then I can order relevant labs that you can complete at a test center or delivered to your door. I can also recommend labwork that you can request from your primary care physician. Together we will interpret the results and extract actionable information to make you feel better.

Common labs include Complete Blood Count, Complete Metabolic Panel, Thyroid panel, DUTCH test, and hormone workups.
